Outlook 2007: User Information

  1. In Outlook 2007, select "Tools" > "E-mail Accounts."
  2. Under the "Email" tab, click the "New" button.

  3. If prompted, make sure the "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP" radio button is selected and click the "Next" button.
  4. Check the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" box.
  5. Click the "Next" button.
  6. Make sure the "Internet E-mail" radio button is selected and click the "Next" button.
  7. Your Name: Enter your first and last name. This is the name that will appear in the "From" field of messages you send.
  8. E-mail Address: Enter your entire email address (e.g., someone@mydomain.com).

Outlook 2007: Server Information

  1. Account Type: Select "POP3" from the drop-down menu.
  2. Incoming mail server: mail.websrvcs.com
  3. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.websrvcs.com

Outlook 2007: Logon Information

  1. User Name: Enter your entire email address (e.g., someone@mydomain.com).
  2. Password: Enter the password for your email account. If you want Outlook to check for mail without prompting you to enter your password, check the "Remember password" box.
  3. Click the "More Settings" button.

Outlook 2007: Internet E-mail Settings

  1. Click the "Outgoing Server" tab.
  2. Check the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" box.
  3. Select the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" radio button.

  5. Click the "Next" button.
  6. Click the "Finish" button.
  7. Click the "Close" button.
